Do I need an appointment for an oil change?
No. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Saturday. Calling ahead is appreciated for faster service.
What kind of oil should I use?
Most modern engines built after 2010 require full synthetic oil. European vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Porsche) require Liqui Moly or equivalent OE-spec synthetic. Vehicles with over 75,000 miles often benefit from high-mileage formulations. Our ASE Master Technician recommends the right oil based on your owner's manual and driving habits.
How often should I change my oil?
Conventional oil: every 3,000 miles. Full synthetic oil: every 5,000-7,500 miles. European (Liqui Moly): every 5,000-10,000 miles per manufacturer spec. Shorten the interval for stop-and-go city driving, towing, or frequent short trips.
Why is European oil so much more expensive?
European manufacturers (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Porsche) specify exact oil grades that meet their warranty requirements — typically a higher-grade synthetic that flows better at extreme temps. Liqui Moly is the industry standard for European OEM-spec oil. Most European engines also take 6-7 quarts vs 5 for typical cars, adding to the cost.
